About RAM Management
Built around the detail
that keeps offices running.
We work with Canadian organisations on the administrative infrastructure that is often overlooked: how correspondence is written, how records are structured, and how work moves between departments without getting stuck.
RAM Management Attorneys at Law
RAM Management was established in Montréal by a group of practitioners who had spent years observing the same pattern across different organisations: the work that determines how well an office functions — correspondence conventions, records architecture, the sequencing of tasks between teams — rarely receives dedicated attention. It accumulates informally, and the resulting inconsistencies are usually absorbed quietly by staff rather than addressed directly.
We set out to change that by offering three focused programmes, each addressing one layer of that administrative foundation. Our starting point is always the office as it actually is: its existing files, its current correspondence, its real handover points. We do not arrive with a fixed product to install. We build something that fits.
Operating from Suite 405 on Chemin Queen Mary, we work primarily with professional offices, non-profit organisations, and municipal bodies across Québec and English Canada. Our bilingual capacity means we address French and English correspondence in the same engagement, which removes the need to manage two separate advisory relationships.
Each engagement produces written deliverables — style guides, operating notes, process maps, roadmaps — that your team owns and can update independently. Our role ends cleanly, and what we leave behind keeps working.
Mission
To give every Canadian office a clear administrative foundation — one that reduces friction, supports consistency, and doesn't require ongoing outside input to maintain.
Approach
We assess what is already in place before proposing anything. Recommendations are sequenced so regular operations continue during rollout.
Languages
All programmes are delivered bilingually. Style guides, templates, and training materials are produced in both French and English.
Rachel Morin
Principal Advisor
Rachel leads correspondence programme delivery and has spent fifteen years working on bilingual communication standards for professional services firms in Québec.
Alain Beauchamp
Records & Systems Lead
Alain designs and implements records management frameworks for offices transitioning from informal filing practices to structured classification systems.
Marie Pelletier
Process Advisory Consultant
Marie maps end-to-end operational flows for multi-department organisations, identifying where handovers create delay and proposing revised sequences leadership can act on.
Scope clarity before engagement
Every engagement begins with a defined scope document. What is included, what is outside the programme, and what the deliverables are — all in writing before work starts.
Confidentiality as standard
All client information — correspondence samples, file structures, organisational charts — is handled with confidentiality provisions and is not referenced in any external context.
Written deliverables, not verbal advice
Every programme produces documents your team keeps and uses. Nothing we do lives only in a presentation or a meeting. The written record is the product.
Bilingual delivery standard
All style guides, templates, and training materials are prepared in both French and English. We do not produce English-first documents with French translations appended.
Migration sequencing
Records migration and process changes are staged to keep daily operations running. Transition steps that require staff attention are scheduled in advance and kept as brief as possible.
Post-handover support
Records management clients have 60 days of written support. Process advisory clients have two quarterly check-ins. These are part of the engagement, not add-ons.
Administrative infrastructure for Canadian organisations
RAM Management operates in a specific area of organisational work: the administrative layer that sits below the professional or operational core. Correspondence standards, records classification, interdepartmental process flow. These are not complex subjects, but they require focused attention that most offices cannot spare from day-to-day demands.
Offices in Montréal and across Québec face a particular version of this challenge because bilingual correspondence is not optional — it is a practical and sometimes regulatory necessity. A house style that accounts for both French and English from the outset reduces the informal corrections that accumulate otherwise. Our correspondence programme addresses this directly, building the conventions your office needs in both languages and leaving a reference your team can use and update.
Records management for an office of 8 to 40 people is often underserved by both large enterprise systems and informal self-organisation. The volume is substantial enough to cause problems, but not so large that a complex solution is warranted. Our records setup programme is designed for exactly that range: enough structure to reduce time spent searching, not so much that the system becomes its own administrative burden.
Process advisory at the multi-department level addresses the specific problem of handovers. Work that crosses two or more teams tends to lose momentum at each junction — not because of negligence, but because the transition point is not clearly owned. Mapping those points, measuring the wait time, and redesigning the sequence is how that problem is addressed at its source rather than managed around.
